Windows x64 Public beta ยท v0.1.0-beta.1 Cloud desktop GUI runner

Download CloudRunner 0.1.0 Beta 1

This is a Windows x64 beta release. The ZIP is the recommended download for most users; the standalone EXE is also available separately. Review the release information before running either file.

Live download counter: CloudRunner GitHub release download count Across all releases; counts downloads, not unique people.

What CloudRunner does

CloudRunner is designed for remotely launching and observing GUI applications without requiring the target application to run on your local desktop. The cloud computer and session are subject to the connected cloud provider's availability and usage limits.

Run an executable from HTTPS

Provide a direct HTTPS URL to a Windows executable and any command-line arguments needed by that application. Use an official, trusted download source.

View the live desktop

Use the built-in live screen view to observe the cloud desktop session while the GUI application is running.

Activate through AlgoLassi

Generate a one-time activation code on the AlgoLassi activation page and enter it in CloudRunner. The app stores its issued access token in Windows Credential Manager.

No Sai API key prompt

End users do not need to supply a Sai API key in CloudRunner. Backend credentials are managed by the service rather than entered into the desktop app.

Requirements

  • A Windows x64 computer to run CloudRunner.
  • An internet connection and a valid CloudRunner activation.
  • Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime for the embedded live-screen interface, if it is not already installed.
  • Access to the supported cloud desktop service. Session availability and usage limits may depend on that provider and your account.

Beta and security notes

CloudRunner deliberately launches the executable you specify. Only use direct download URLs from sources you trust, review command-line arguments, and verify the file's SHA-256 checksum against a value published by the software publisher when one is available. A cloud desktop is not a guarantee that an executable is safe or that its activity cannot affect data accessible inside that session.

This is beta software and may contain bugs or change between releases. Do not rely on it for sensitive or production-critical workflows. Read the release notes for the current version before use.
